As we wrap up another incredible year at The Mill, we’re thrilled to share some highlights and milestones that made 2024 memorable. From the 3rd Floor expansion to new faces (staff and members) and events, it’s been a year filled with growth, collaboration, and a whole lot of coffee. 8,000 cups of coffee: Fueling ideas and conversations, our NEW coffee machine worked overtime to keep the creativity flowing.
656 pints of beer: Cheers to local brews from our friends at Girard Craft and Cork.
90 new company memberships: We’re thrilled to have welcomed an incredible array of new businesses to The Mill community.

As we step into 2025, it’s essential to reflect on the past year and recognize the value we’ve shared with our community—and the incredible value the community has brought to us. Closing out our eighth year of providing coworking spaces, networking opportunities, and collaborative hubs in Wilmington is a milestone we’re deeply proud of.
In 2024, we completed the stunning expansion of the third floor at our flagship Downtown Wilmington location. This new space has hosted countless events, meetings, and ceremonies, giving us the chance to connect more deeply with our members and the broader community.
Several companies have already made their home on this new floor, and we’re excited to welcome even more members in the year ahead!
One particular highlight of this expansion is our state-of-the-art Podcast Studio, officially opening in the new year. This amenity offers our members and the community a platform to share ideas, produce professional recordings, and amplify their voices in innovative ways.
Artificial Intelligence took center stage in 2024, and its impact continues to grow. At The Mill, we’ve embraced AI tools that help support our members’ goals, while preserving the human connections that make our spaces so unique. In 2025, we’re eager to explore even more opportunities to integrate AI thoughtfully into our ecosystem.

We got our new compost machine in the pantry area on the 3rd floor in September! It’s our way of turning food waste into something valuable and making our community even more sustainable.
Sustainability also remained a key focus in 2024. We introduced initiatives like our composting program, which seamlessly blends technology and nature.
Through our partnership with Mill Industries, we’ve been able to repurpose coffee grounds into nutrient-rich feed, benefiting farmers nationwide.
We’re excited to continue adding meaningful, eco-friendly features to our spaces.
The success of The Mill is a testament to Wilmington’s collaborative spirit. Your continued support inspires us to innovate, grow, and create spaces where businesses and ideas thrive.

LOOKING AHEAD TO 2025
Over the past 12 months, we have made wonderful progress on the design of our Seaford location, and can see a clear picture of the future of coworking in Southern Delaware.
Our third location will offer new office layouts, a stunning event space, and will be surrounded by a campus of activities, retail, and education. Be on the lookout for Ground Breaking information for this beautiful expansion space!
