We are thrilled to share a meaningful initiative with you, led by Sherell Flagg, an inspiring entrepreneur and advocate for women’s health and wellness. Sherell is the founder of Pretty Moody, an organization committed to breaking the silence surrounding menopause and hormonal health. Her mission is to foster a supportive community and provide natural solutions for women navigating these life stages, as well as to educate young girls on their journey to womanhood.
Recognizing the need for greater support in women’s wellness, Sherell launched the Pretty Moody Foundation, focusing on issues such as period poverty and menstrual health awareness. One of the Foundation’s core pillars is addressing period poverty, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their economic background, has access to essential menstrual products.
As part of this mission, the Pretty Moody Foundation has collaborated with the talented students of the Cab Calloway School of the Arts in Wilmington, Delaware, to create donation boxes that represent a community-driven solution to this pressing issue.
See some of the designs of the donation boxes in the gallery below. These boxes are placed on the 3rd floor near reception and by the entry doors on the 4th floor.
Thanks to the generosity of donors like our Mill members, these boxes will help provide much-needed supplies to underserved individuals, bridging a critical gap in access to menstrual products. By supporting this initiative and placing feminine hygiene products in these boxes, you are playing an essential role in advancing menstrual equity. Your contribution will make a direct impact, helping individuals maintain dignity and confidence during their menstrual cycles.
We are deeply grateful for your support in this important cause. Together, we can make a difference.
